Six Mexzzo 604 AD amplifiers bring flexible multi-zone control throughout a 14th century Renaissance complex.
This level of flexible control comes to the Cour des Loges Lyon, a Radisson Collection hotel located at the centre of historic Lyon, France, which reopened after an extensive two-year renovation, including a fully integrated audio system designed to improve the guest experience across the venue.
The hotel features 61 unique rooms and suites, two restaurants, as well as a collection of spaces designed for a premiere hotel experience.
Integrator PLUG’In Design delivered a full audio overhaul centred on six Powersoft Mezzo 604 AD compact amplifiers.
For the integrator, the objective was to design a fully customised sonic environment across all areas of the hotel, including its inner courtyards, lounges, both restaurants, reception, and retail spaces.
The property’s original stone walls and Renaissance features provided limited cable routing options, restricting conventional installation approaches.
The Powersoft Mezzo 604 AD amplifiers enable remote control and monitoring while ensuring flexible signal routing throughout the property, used with an included mounting kit which allows the amplifiers to be installed discreetly within constrained technical spaces, a key requirement for a historic venue.
This amplifier system powers Biamp ENT203-BK, ENT220-BK and ENT206-BK loudspeakers, supporting balanced audio reproduction tailored to each area of the hotel.
Centralised control is delivered via touchscreen tablets, allowing staff to manage audio levels and zoning without requiring technical expertise.
The system allows distinct ambience profiles to be created for different zones, ensuring that the sonic atmosphere aligns with the hotel’s identity.
