Nimans has opened an experience centre in Manchester, UK, giving channel partners a dedicated environment to demonstrate AV and connected workplace offerings.
Located at Nimans’ Manchester headquarters in the UK, called Techzone, combines interactive displays, videoconferencing, audio, and mounting offerings with unified communications, networking, and security technology.
The centre allows partners to demonstrate how AV operates as part of a connected environment, rather than as a standalone product category.
The hands-on environment is intended to make AV and video systems easier to understand, allowing partners to bring their customers to see, touch, and experience the technology first-hand, explore how it could work in organisations, and make more informed purchasing decisions.
The Techzone includes systems from ViewSonic, Hikvision, Jabra, Yealink, and other vendors. The space’s demonstration areas cover interactive displays, video conferencing, audio, security, and unified communications, with additional vendors and products to be added as the centre evolves.
A presentation suite is also available with capacity for up to 80 guests. This space can host AV product launches, training sessions, customer events, partner briefings, and manufacturer-led sessions.
Paul Burn, managing director, Nimans, explains: “AV is most persuasive when customers can experience it working in a realistic environment. Techzone gives our partners a professional place to show that experience and explain the value behind the technology. It is not simply a showroom. It is a sales enablement resource where partners can bring customers, demonstrate complete solutions and draw on the expertise of our technology specialists.
“We want partners to use Techzone to power up their AV opportunities, whether they are presenting an interactive display, designing a meeting room or showing how AV, video, networking and security can work together.”
