Pufferfish will open its Edinburgh headquarters on September 22 for an immersive technology open day focused on its PufferTouch and PufferHemi display systems.
The event will bring together customers, partners, AV and creative technology professionals, investors and members of the Pufferfish community for hands-on demonstrations at the company’s headquarters.
Running from 10am, the open day will give visitors the opportunity to meet the Pufferfish team, explore its technology up close and see how its wider ecosystem, including PufferStudio, PufferEvents and PufferTech, works in practice.
Pufferfish’s technology is designed to move beyond conventional flat-screen display formats by combining distinctive visual systems with interactivity. The company targets applications including immersive experiences, museums, education, corporate environments, events and experiential installations.
Visitors will be able to experience PufferTouch through direct interaction with content, while PufferHemi will demonstrate the company’s non-planar approach to creating immersive visual experiences.
Stephen Patterson, CEO of Pufferfish Displays, said the event was intended to give visitors a clearer understanding of “what makes it different and understand what’s possible”.
He added: “What’s important is that this technology needs to be experienced first-hand, close up. Visitors will also get to meet the highly talented team of programmers, engineers and graphic designers that make it all happen!”
For those unable to attend in person, Pufferfish will run online demonstrations throughout the day at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm.
