LEA amplifiers support retro gaming experience at Pixel Palace
Pixel Palace Arcade and Bar in Round Rock, USA, has installed LEA Professional Connect Series amplifiers as part of a new AV system designed by Mood Texas.

The retro-inspired venue, which opened in late 2024, combines classic arcade gaming with a social bar environment and makes extensive use of videowalls, displays and background audio to build its atmosphere.

Mood Texas selected LEA’s Connect Series 354 amplifiers to drive the venue’s loudspeaker system. The 4-channel, 350-watt models support both Hi-Z and Lo-Z configurations and feature Smart Power Bridge technology. As IoT-enabled amplifiers, they also provide access to LEA Cloud, allowing integrators to remotely monitor and control devices.

“LEA Professional amps checked all the boxes perfectly for Pixel Palace,” said Linda Rasch, senior system designer at Mood Texas. “I spec LEA whenever possible because of LEA Cloud and the remote management capabilities. We have 4,000 customers - it’s just too many to roll trucks for all of them. So the more we can fix remotely, the better.”

The AV system integrates multiple input options, including Bluetooth for guest use and an XLR wall plate for events such as weekly trivia nights. Control is managed through an RTI processor and iPad interface, with LEA’s RTI driver ensuring straightforward integration for end users.
