Gefen has announced a new extra long range extender for DVI, delivering 1920 x 1200 resolution up to 100m in distance.
Gefen’s ELR (extra long range) technology is based on HDBaseT standards and enables the device to achieve considerably longer distances than were previously possible over Cat5 with such high resolution.
Gefen also supplies local and pass-through EDID management options to ensure constant signal delivery from source to display, regardless of distance.
