Christie will return as the official technical partner for the Festival de Cannes, marking 20 years of collaboration between the festival and manufacturer.
The 79th Festival de Cannes will run from May 12-23 2026 with Christie projectors illuminating the international global cinema event with RealLaser, Phazer, and Zenon cinema projection technologies.
Christie CP4435-RGB projectors will power screenings in the Grand Théâtre Lumière, the Debussy room, and the La Plage outdoor cinema on the beach.
Across the festival, Xenon-based projectors will be deployed in the Lérins and Riviera theatres, while projectors with Phazer hybrid laser illumination technology with light smaller screen auditoriums. All projectors are equipped with CineLife+ software, which provides advanced technical features and ensures smooth operation during the show.
