Extron has announced the launch of its Ecofficient initiative, developed in response to the termination of the Energy Star program for commercial AV devices.
The Ecofficient designation is designed to provide system designers, integrators, and end users with a recognisable mark of Extron’s ongoing efforts to reduce power consumption, lower operating costs, and supporting global sustainability goals.
The Ecofficient mark is designed to be deployed across multiple product lines, providing a “trusted indicator” for organisations that are increasingly aiming to prioritise sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Case Hall, chief marketing officer, Extron, commented: “The Ecofficient designation represents the best of what Extron delivers: engineering precision, forward-thinking innovation, and measurable efficiency.
“We created this initiative to help our customers confidently specify AV systems that meet today’s energy expectations without compromising performance.”
