L-Acoustics has achieved B Corp Certification, with the accreditation covering the full L-Acoustics Group across 13 sites worldwide.
The certification, awarded by non-profit organisation B Lab, assesses companies against standards covering governance, transparency, and social and environmental performance.
L-Acoustics was certified through B Lab’s Large Enterprise and Multinational pathway, which is designed for companies with complex, multi-site operations.
The pro audio manufacturer joins a global network of more than 10,000 Certified B Corporations in more than 100 countries, including more than 640 in France. According to L-Acoustics, it is one of only 70 companies in the arts and entertainment sector to be certified.
For rental companies, integrators and venues specifying L-Acoustics systems, the certification provides an independently verified account of the company’s approach to social and environmental performance, rather than relying on manufacturer claims alone.
Hervé Guillaume, chief executive officer of L-Acoustics Group, described the certification as a milestone in the company’s sustainability journey and said it placed L-Acoustics among the “pioneers of the professional audio industry in social, environmental and governance performance”.
The company’s sustainability strategy is focused on three main areas: supporting the wellbeing, development and safety of its employees; reducing the environmental impact of products and operations while extending product life and circularity; and using sound to support culture, education, inclusion and connection in the communities where it operates.
Guillaume said the certification recognised the work of teams across the business and represented “a commitment to a more sustainable future for live entertainment”.
Like all Certified B Corporations, L-Acoustics will be reassessed on a regular cycle to demonstrate continued progress.
The company’s 2025 Impact Report is available through the corporate social responsibility section of the L-Acoustics website, while its public B Corp profile is listed in B Lab’s directory.
