London2012, Coca-Cola focus on digital signage
Organisers of the DOOH (Digital Out of Home) Business Conference have pulled in big names, announcing participation of Samsung, Coca-Cola, Ford and the London2012 Olympics. The two day conference will kick off at the Amsterdam RAI on February 2, 2009, one day before the start of ISE. The conference focuses on “real-world” applications and will include case studies on the use of digital signage in the Carrefour and Amavita retail chains.

Representatives from Samsung, Coca-Cola, the Ford Motor Company, Bayer AG, the Co-Operative Group and the London2012 Olympics will share their thoughts and experiences in a moderated panel discussion on the subject of ‘Digital Out Of Home Media: Do They Fuel The Business Of A Brand?’

Metro Group will highlight some of the technologies being deployed in its Future Store Initiative, including interactive 360-degree displays, multimedia terminals and ambient sound.

“Our DOOH Business Conference will pose a number of key questions, as well as offering solutions,” said Mike Blackman, managing director, Integrated Systems Events. “How can digital signage be used to enhance a brand? How important are the network’s locations? Which technologies work best in different environments? For anyone who has an interest in the design, supply and maintenance of digital signage systems, this will be a compelling series of presentations and discussions.”

The DOOH Business Conference is divided into a series of sub-sections: Market Trends, Technology Trends, and Perspectives from Location Owners, Content Creators, Media Agencies, Special Agencies, and lastly the Advertisers themselves.

Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) runs February 3-5, 2009 at the Amsterdam RAI, the DOOH Business Conference begins the day before. The conference structure gives delegates the opportunity to visit ISE for at least half a day, and exhibition admission is included in the conference registration fee.
