Manufacturers wanting to enter the Inavation Awards Business categories will be granted an extension to October 28.
The Business Awards were launched specifically for manufacturers of AV technology and to recognise outstanding achievement in aspects of business that are vital to a company’s success.
The Awards are:
1, Best Client Support
2, Best Marketing Campaign
3, Best New Company*
4, Best Place to Work
5, Best Sales Team
6, Best Small Company**
7, The Business Growth Award
8, The Corporate Social Responsibility Award
9, The R&D Award
10, The Sustainability Award
To be eligible entrants must be manufacturers of AV technology and the initiatives mentioned must have been implemented between October 1, 2018 and October 1, 2019. All eligible entries will be announced in Inavate online and print products as well as at the Inavation Awards ceremony in Amsterdam on February 11, 2020.
Winners will be selected by a judging panel of AV integrators, consultants and distributors from around the world, as well editors from Inavate and associated technology magazines. They will be revealed at the Inavation Awards ceremony.
Anna Mitchell, group editor of Inavate, said: “Manufacturers have always competed in the Inavation Awards on the strength of their technology developments. Innovation in product design is vital for their success and innovative technologies are crucially relevant to the success of Inavate readers’ businesses. But product design alone is not enough.
“Inavation Awards are a benchmark by which our readership can make certain assumptions and decisions. A great product needs good support. Purchasers may never know that the perfect product for their project is out there if it’s not marketed or sold well. And we want to celebrate technology excellence from companies that are managed well and look after their employees and the environment.
“The Inavation Business Awards will highlight excellence in all aspects of a manufacturer that make that company a good partner for those that buy and use their technology.”
To remain relevant and to effectively serve the industry, Inavation Awards categories are reviewed every year and the Inavation Business Awards will replace the Inavation Technology Awards in 2020.
“Technology is still the central focus for Inavate but changes in how technology is developed and how other awards schemes are run mean that we no longer believe the Inavation Awards to be the right forum to highlight and promote new products,” said Dan Jago, founder of Inavate and the Inavation Awards.
“For groundbreaking achievements in technology development, we have launched the R&D Award, which will carry great weight and prestige for the company that walks away with this accolade. And, we will keep doing what we’ve always done at Inavate: discover, highlight and promote new and disruptive technologies for the professional AV industry.”
