Engage Works has donated an 85-in interactive board to a bilingual school in Kyiv, Ukraine, offering new educational opportunities for children affected by the war.
SproutSchool, an English-speaking kindergarten, primary, and lower secondary school in Kyiv is known for its internationally recognised bilingual program, facing challenges due to the ongoing invasion of Ukraine by Russia, which has disrupted the education of millions of Ukrainian children.
More than 5.7 million school-aged children in Ukraine have been affected by the war, with thousands of schools damaged or destroyed, and almost 600 children killed and 1,350 wounded by Russian attacks.
Engage Works donated a Philips T-Line multi-touch interactive classroom display to enhance the learning experience at the school, providing engaging tools for educational activities such as interactive lessons or collaborative projects.
Olia Blyth, co-owner, SproutSchool, commented: "Our school is deeply grateful for the kind gesture of the 85-in interactive board from Engage Works. It opens up new opportunities for teaching and learning for our Ukrainian children. It’s an amazing device that delivers everything we need in our classroom daily. Thank you so much for this precious gift."
