ATEN up for Two Nominations at InAVation Awards 2017
ATEN International, the world-leading designer and manufacturer of advanced connectivity and management solutions, has announced that their VK Series and HDBaseT Matrix & Extension Solution have been awarded the finalists title for Technology in Control Rooms and Technology in Signal Distribution at the InAVation Awards 2017.

Whilst the Awards remains an independent endorsement of professional AV skill, it has been known to be relatively close with ISE – now strengthened and powered by InAVate & ISE, the InAVation Awards will be held on the first evening of ISE 2017 on 7th February 2017. With the recent move towards solutions based approach - providing examples of technology innovation on solutions and the benefit it brings to designers, integrators, managers and users of AV systems are greatly emphasised to truly recognise innovation and brilliance in this sector.

The ATEN Control System (VK Series) has won its first finalist award under Technology in Control Rooms. Consisting of the ATEN Control Box (VK2100), ATEN Configurator (VK6000) and the ATEN Control System App, it is a standard Ethernet-based management system which connects all the hardware devices to provide a centralised control, effortlessly, via a mobile device, tablet and/or computer. It can be deployed in three simple steps; connect, configure and control devices from a tablet/computer no matter the size of a room or complexity of the hardware.

It has further announced that ATEN received their second finalist award under the Technology in Signal Distribution for the HDBaseT Matrix & Extension Solution. The solution has the ability to amplify A/V signals from multiple sources devices to be delivered to multiple screens and /or projectors, whilst maintaining excellent video quality. In particular, the VM3909H can extend uncompressed 4K / Full HD digital video, audio, IR, and power, via HDBaseT technology of up to 70m with a Cat6a cable. It offers flexibility with reliable signal distribution controlled via; front-panel pushbuttons, IR, RS-232 and Ethernet (Telnet / the Web GUI) connections. It is designed as a functional and integrated control system built for; residential, commercial and conference centre settings. When combined with The ATEN Control System, it can offer a centralised control management directly and effortlessly via a mobile device, tablet and/or computer.
