TechPro acquires Edge Live

TechPro acquires Edge Live
Corporate Live event production company TechPro, has announced the acquisition of Edge Live, a UK-based specialist, providing AV production services for live, hybrid and virtual events and conferences.

Edge Live owner Matt Evans, joins TechPro as a company director, working closely with TechPro existing director Mark Stokes to ensure a transfer of knowledge and experience. This decision by TechPro, makes available to live event production agencies a range of services, including AV systems, technical equipment hire, virtual meetings, event design and project management.

TechPro director, Mark Stokes commented: “Matt and I have known each other for a long time and worked on numerous event projects together and the synergies that exist between our two businesses made it an easy decision to acquire Edge Live and fold their services into ours. Often acquisitions are about reducing competition, gaining unique assets or new locations, but this is an acquisition of valuable experience, knowledge and opportunities to enhance our services at a time when live event agencies are looking for cost effective and sustainable solutions. The next step in the evolution of our business is building the studios to manage the delivery of virtual and hybrid events. By combining virtual elements with face-to-face meetings, event agencies can deliver the professional events their clients demand, whilst reducing the requirements for all delegates to travel."

Edge Live owner Matt Evans, said of the acquisition: "In addition to the increasing demand for face-to-face meetings, conferences and seminars in the post-pandemic return to normal, the benefit of combining virtual elements to improve the sustainability of events is a growth opportunity for TechPro.

Home to the new, expanded TechPro business will remain the company’s current Tamworth location, which ensures their expert team and equipment sit at the heart of the country, equidistant to the event hotspots in London and the North.
