VuWall president Paul Vander Plaetse tells Paul Milligan how the young company is trying to make a name for itself amidst a host of long-established names in the videowall market.
Although he heads up a newcomer in the videowall sector, Paul Vander Plaetse, president of VuWall is anything but one.
His CV involves seven years at Barco, where he was in charge of industrial displays and air traffic control products in Europe. It was during his time at Barco that he moved to Canada, before joining Matrox for five years to develop the air traffic control and videowall markets the company was keen to exploit at the time.
It was during his time at Matrox that he saw the opportunity to launch his own business, and in 2009 VuWall was born.
