Florida’s performing arts gets Community boost

When the Pinellas County School District in Florida decided to upgrade sound throughout its performing arts centres it began with three schools: Dunedin, Lakewood and Largo High. The three systems subsequently designed utilised Entasys three-way column line-arrays from Community.

Barco opens Commonwealth Games

Barco has provided 32 FLM R22+ projectors for the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, India. At the start of the ceremony a helium filled balloon, measuring 40 x 80 x 12 m and boasting 360° projection, lifted up from the centre of the stadium.

Dynacord keeps fit in Norway

Large fitness club chains in Norway, including the recently opened SATS Metro and Elixia facilities, are using Dynacord amplifiers. Presentation Data, an AV specialist headquartered in Oslo, has worked with Dynacord for many years and says it has recently identified fitness clubs as a market well suited to receive the equipment.

Bose gets flexible at university

The UK’s Loughborough University’s facilities management team recently decided to install a permanent sound system in its sports hall. The team previously hired systems for the various events - including speeches, announcements and graduation ceremonies – held in the David Wallace Sports Hall.
