Theatres share Yamaha solution

The Palace Theatre in Kilmarnock, Scotland, recently bolstered its offering for live events with a new audio solution based around a Yamaha M7CL48-ES console and Yamaha SB168-ES stage boxes. The complex includes the Palace theatre and Grand Hall that seat 500 and 1300 people respectively.

A visitor experience at London’s Science Museum has been given an interactive boost, utilising Calibre UK’s PremierViewProHD Image Warp Processors to warp and blend incoming video signals. The “Who Am I?” exhibit, which explores brain science and genetics, opened in 2000 but has recently added the “Me3” interactive element; divided into Exhibit, Threshold and Backdrop zones.

Kellogg Company ramps up corporate signage

Kellogg Company has ramped up its corporate communications programme, increasing the number of BrightSign solid-state HD210 media players from 20 to 63. The food giant needed to update its corporate communications system from a system based on Windows PCs and PowerPoint presentations.

Millwall Football Club in London recently overhauled its audio system with an eye on attracting entertainment events to its stadium, known affectionately as The Den. Community Professional Loudspeaker’s R-Series were chosen to handle the challenge following an on-site demonstration by Community’s UK distributor, CUK.

North Coast Church has installed new sounds systems at two California based, purpose-built venues: North Coast Live and The Edge. Pyxis Industries handled design and installation and chose an Electro-Voice system.

Televic cuts the wires on ASEM summit

The 8th ASEM summit, a biennial event between European and Asian leaders, used Televic Conference equipment at the Royal Palace on October 4 and 5. The wireless Confidea system served a delegation of 49 officials, including the presidents of the European Council and European Commission.
