Leader to debut HDR measurement application features at MPS 2019
Leader will highlight new HDR measurement applications of its LV5600 video waveform monitor and remote data centre production.
The LV5600 can monitor and analyse the signal flow from remotely located devices in locations such as data centres, with the LV5600’s 25GbE interface capable of supporting productions from HD/SDR to UHDTV/HDR remotely.
The waveform monitor is part of a Jigsaw24 HDR production workflow demonstration, enabling operators to check key parameters at individual points in the workflow to identify any falloff in signal quality.
The LV5600 is a mains-powered SDI/IP waveform monitor in a half-rack width 3U desktop chassis, featuring a touch-screen front panel display.
The monitor provides facilities to monitor UHD/HD/SD SDI as well as video over IP signals, capable of performing test pattern generation, eye pattern display, closed-caption monitoring, CIE colour chart, high dynamic range measurement, focus assist and also features a customisable screen layout, tally interface, 4K/UHD operation 10G IP input and 12G-SDI interfaces.
SMPTE 2022-6, SMPTE 2022-7 and SMPTE 2110 protocols are all supported, with the LV5600 incorporating Leader’s Cinezone and Cinelite.
MPS 2019 will run from 11-12 June 2019 at the Olympia London in London, UK.
