WyreStorm has introduced the NHD-600-E-TX/RX, a new SDVoE-based encoder and decoder pair designed to deliver full-performance AV over IP at a lower cost.
The launch extends the company’s NetworkHD 600 Series, bringing lossless 4K60 4:4:4 video distribution with zero-frame latency to a wider range of installations. The new ‘E’ series retains the core performance of the flagship platform while removing select auxiliary I/O features to reduce cost and complexity.
At its core, the system uses SDVoE technology to transmit uncompressed video over 10GbE networks, supporting 4K UHD and DCI resolutions at 60fps with full colour sampling. HDR formats including HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision are also supported.
Latency remains a key focus, with the system operating in Genlock mode for near-zero delay. A Fast Switch mode enables source changes within one to two frames, targeting environments where seamless switching is required, such as control rooms and live production.
Both encoder and decoder units are powered via PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at), allowing power and data to be delivered over a single cable. The platform also supports flexible audio routing, including analogue audio de-embedding alongside HDMI, with the ability to route discrete audio streams independently across the network.
Control is integrated through bidirectional IR and RS-232, which can be routed and broadcast across the system and controlled via API, enabling integration with third-party control and automation platforms.
Wei Jun, vice president of strategic marketing at WyreStorm, said: “We have not cut performance; we have cut complexity. Integrators can now deploy the full power of SDVoE technology precisely where it is needed, at a price point that makes scalable 4K60 matrix distribution a reality for a far wider range of projects.”
The NHD-600-E series is aimed at applications where low latency and image fidelity are critical, including control rooms, healthcare environments, esports and large-scale enterprise or campus deployments. By using standard 10Gb Ethernet infrastructure, the system is also designed to scale across multi-room and multi-building environments.
