Crestron announced at InfoComm 2018 that Mercury, its UC and AV tabletop product is now compatible with the Huddly wide-angle USB camera, after a partnership was announced between the two companies.
The new pairing provides an undistorted, ultra-wide viewing angle of all participants in a meeting room during videoconference calls.
"By pairing the best USB camera in the industry with the best open UC platform, Crestron continues to raise the bar for the Unified Communications experience," said Nic Milani, director, technology and development, Crestron.
Beyond supplying the camera, Huddly is also partnering with Crestron on features that use Crestron’s XiO Cloud service (now embedded in every new Crestron device).
The Huddly partnership comes on the heels of a recent announcement from Microsoft regarding further expansion of the Crestron relationship around the launch of Microsoft Teams this Autumn.
