WORKTECH26 AI + Digital Technologies will bring the debate around AI-enabled workplaces to Meta’s King’s Cross campus in London on Tuesday 9 June 2026, with a programme that will examine how sensors, integrated platforms, intelligent meeting experiences and predictive workplace systems are changing corporate environments.

Inavate is a media partner for the event and Inavate readers can access a 15% discount on tickets using the VIP discount code WT26-AI-INAVATE.

For AV integrators, the event offers a timely look at how workplace technology is moving beyond connected rooms and collaboration tools towards adaptive, data-led environments that can respond to people, space usage, and operational needs in real time.

A key session for Inavate readers will see Rob Cookson, vice president of global real estate and facilities at Meta, join Philip Ross, CEO and founder of Ungroup and Cordless Group, for a fireside chat titled From integration to intelligence: AI, workplace strategy and the human experience. The discussion will explore how AI is reshaping workplace and real estate strategy at scale, moving beyond automation and dashboards towards predictive approaches to space, operations and employee experience.

The conversation will also cover AI-driven workplace optimisation, anticipatory portfolio strategy, governance, readiness and scale, as organisations look at how workplace systems can support better decision-making and more responsive environments.

Meta will also be represented by Harish Krishna, director, engineering, who will present The intelligent workplace: rethinking work in the age of AI. The session will look at how AI, sensors and integrated platforms are reshaping how organisations design space, support employees and enable productivity across home and office. It will also explore smarter desk and meeting experiences, and how systems that learn, predict and act are contributing to a more unified and responsive workplace.

The event will be hosted at Meta’s King’s Cross campus, which comprises more than 57,000 sq m of office space and almost 5,000 workstations. The site is home to teams working on Instagram, Reality Labs, Workplace, and Ads & Business Products, making it a relevant setting for discussions around the next generation of workplace technology.

Other sessions will examine the wider shift towards intelligent workplaces, including the role of AI-powered meeting platforms, autonomous building systems, digital twins, workplace apps and agentic AI. Nicky Chapman, AI Powered Workplace Program Lead, Teams Engineering UKI & Benelux at Microsoft, will explore how AI is transforming collaboration, communication and decision-making, with a focus on intelligent meeting rooms, meeting equity and hybrid work.

Elisa Ronka, managing director – digital EMEA at Johnson Controls, will address the rise of agentic AI in workplace and facility operations, looking at how AI agents are moving beyond dashboards to take action, coordinate workflows and intervene when human judgement is needed.

Further sessions will consider the future role of facilities management in autonomous buildings, AI governance, digital employee experience, workplace design in the age of AI, and the implications of intelligent systems for organisational culture and leadership.

Speakers will include representatives from Meta, Microsoft, Johnson Controls, JLL, HSBC, Boston Consulting Group, Bayer, Zopa Bank, Aberdeen Investments, FORA, Urban Land Institute and WORKTECH Academy.

Alongside the conference, a curated innovations exhibition will run in the breakout areas, giving attendees opportunities to meet education partners and explore technologies supporting intelligent, sustainable and human-centric workplaces.
