The Canford Group, formerly Canford Audio, is to transfer to an employee ownership trust later in 2019.
The Canford Group has manufactured audio equipment for broadcast and AV industries since the 1970s, with most of its employees based in north-east England.
The previous year saw significant growth for the Canford Group, with 2018 boasting a turnover of £15.75m for the company.
