Vivitek announces compact laser projector series

Vivitek has announced its D3600Z series, comprised of the DH3660Z, DU3661Z and the NovoProjector DH3665ZN.

The DH3660Z laser projector is designed for meeting rooms, with the DU3661Z features an HDBaseT connection to enable installations of up to 100m cable.

The DH3665ZN features the built-in NovoConnect Solution for wireless presentation collaboration.

Each projector in the D3600Z series weighs 7kg and offers a choice of 4500 or 5000 ANSI Lumens of brightness with FullHD 1080p or WUXGA resolution.

The series features switch on within three seconds, with its HDMI Signal-On and VIGA Signal-On enabling an ‘instant on’ set up.

An instant off function is included, with a direct power off function to shut down the projector without waiting for it to cool down.

The series also features an auto-power-off function to automatically shut the projector down if no signal input has been received over a specified period of time.

Up to three HDMI interfaces can be enabled, allowing for switching of sources. Users can also operate wirelessly with the NovoProjector DH3665ZN, which features collaboration with Vivitek’s NovoConnect solution embedded as well as a built-in 10W speaker.

The DU3661Z offers a choice of HDBaseT to run one cable for image, sound and control over distance, with a 1.5x zoom and vertical lens shift capacity. Horizontal, vertical and four corner keystone correction options are available for projection image alignment.

Various projection modes are also included, including DICOM Simulation mode to enhance X-ray images.

The series is specified for up to 20,000 hours of operation and has a filter-free design with a fully-sealed optical engine to reduce dust particle impact on the core of the projector.

A constant brightness function is included, which enables users to define a brightness level of between 25% to 100% without changing the light level.

Smart fan management is also incorporated, automatically adapting the fan speed according to customised brightness levels, producing 29dB in eco mode.
