UVS has debuted an updated version of its Lucidity videowall controller and control software, with the Lucidity 2020 R1 videowall manager including the ability to integrate with a Matrox IPX decode and display card.
The updates include the ability for comprehensive operator and system logging with an export function, carousels for rotating source views and availability as a plugin to multiple security VMS/PSIM manufacturers.
Users can launch wall presets from the software’s change content page instead of navigating to different pages with the option of remote KVM for remote client workstations including the ability to scale and send (ctrl+alt+delete).
External devices can also be added allowing control of third party devices via TCP/IP or RS232, with macros able to be created and initiated from the change content page to link external device commands and pre-set launches such as turn wall on and play preset.
Scheduling functionality can be added for launching pre-sets and macros at specified times/intervals, adding a template creator to allow users to create display templates including split windows and import/export designs.
On screen display functionality has been added for LVC, RGB and IP windows for adding source window names.
New API commands have also been added for switching onscreen sources with URLs, allowing additional third-party integration.
