Salzbrenner has equipped The Iona, a P&O cruise ship built at the Meyer Werft shipyard, with multimedia systems.
The project included integrating technology in 35 public areas of the ship, including theatres, four cinemas, pubs and bars, restaurants, the fitness centre, spa and crew areas.
Salzbrenner installed 280 show spotlights from SGM, a laser from ER Productions and a transparent multimedia display wall in the SkyDome. Showlight systems from Robe were installed in all event areas, while 125 sq m of Absen LED was installed throughout the ship.
Approximately 600 PA loudspeakers from d&b audiotechnik and 10 audio mixing consoles from DiGiCo handle audio requirements.
