SurgeX launches Squid power management device at ISE 2020

SurgeX has introduced its Squid power management devices at the show, including two 5V USB ports input for charging and network troubleshooting as well as eight outputs, four traditionally controlled and monitored IEC receptacles and four DC receptacles.

A relay based system allows the AC and DC ports to be controlled, with the device able to be monitored and integrated into third party control systems.

Three models are available for (2) 12V, (2) 24V and a combination of the two, with integrators able to use Squid to power small spaces, mounting the device in a rack, behind a flat panel, mounted under a table or integrated into a table hatch.

Built-in autosensing is featured, with universal compatibility with 120V to 240V, with SurgeX Axess Elite capabilities available such as sequencing, scheduling, auto-ping, IP control, monitoring and management.

Built-in diagnostic monitoring is also featured, providing a system for management, mitigation and control of the system’s power.
