Sommer Cable has presented its Aqua Marinex LED control cable providing protection from heat, water, and sand in outdoor wiring applications.
The SC-Aqua Marinex LED series offers all-weather durability for environments requiring a RGBW LED control cable. Incorporating a 5-wire design, the cable is halogen-free and features tight braiding for mobile use.
The cables are suited for extending RGB strips as RGB signal supply line, as well as medical and electrotechnical applications.
“Our Aqua cable is cold flexible down to –40 °C, temperature resistant up to +80 °C, sand repellent and at the same time even salt water resistant. And owing to its UV resistant outer jacket it is also protected against intense solar radiation. Our customers can therefore carry out demanding wiring jobs with a clear conscience, even down to a water depth of 10 metres (33 ft.),” commented Pascal Miguet, product & sales manager at Sommer Cable.
