SiliconCore to present 0.95mm LED display technology

SiliconCore will showcase its smallest LED pixel pitch display to date at ISE 2016.

The 0.95mm LED can achieve 2000 nits in brightness in displays requiring close proximity viewing. 4K resolution can be achieved at 165-in diagonal, with optimum perspective experienced at under a metre.

Its Common Cathode driver architecture reduces the heat output of displays for lower power consumption, provides a lifespan of over 100,000 hours, and removes the need for additional cooling.

Eric Li, president and CEO of SiliconCore commented: “Our unique architecture negates the need for an external ballast resistor on the Red LED so that tighter formations can be created.”

SiliconCore will exhibit at ISE in Amsterdam from February 9 to 12, 2016 at hall 10, stand K110.
