Pixel Projects leverage Chrome OS for video conferencing

Pixel projects, using Google’s Chrome OS as a basis, has introduced Chromebox which is their video conferencing solution for businesses and SMEs. The product can host meeting of up to 15 participants or locations, who can choose to participate using their Gmail account or Google Hangouts as well.

The Chromebox comprises of an Intel Core i7 computer, HD camera, combined microphone and speaker unit, remote control and management services. A choice of display monitors as well as the option for installation services and wiring is also available.

Managing director of Pixel Projects, Paddy O’Brien comments: “We are excited to be working on this launch as believe this more accessible product offering will provide an opportunity to upgrade existing facilities for many of our SME clients for whom before the Chromebox, their budgets would allow for Video Conference in a maximum of one room.”
