Eyevis has introduced a universal input controller for multi-channel, high-resolution displays. The EYE-4SYNC handles displays and projectors up to 4,096 x 2,160 pixels resolution.
The board was developed for two main applications. Firstly, as an "embedded" version to be integrated in the EYE-LCD series, and secondly as a "standalone" version for the EYE-LCD-5600-QHD-4 or other devices on the market. Up to four graphic signals, each with a maximum resolution of 2,048 x 1,080 pixels, are synchronised and genlocked on one master signal.
With this synchronisation board special graphic cards are not required for high-resolution monitors.
Features:
-Standalone Device or Embedded Version
-Synchronisation of up to 4 DVI Signals with a maximum resolution of 2,048 x 1,080 Pixels each
-Automatic Input Detection
-Internal Generation of Output Syncs
-For any multichannel high-resolution Displays or Projectors
Each input channel is independent in itself; the system includes micro controllers which manage the automatic detection of the source standard, the genlock mode and source positioning on the display output. Also each output is managed globally, because of the daisychain feature, so that all outputs are synchronised to be able to control images on the same display.
The output sync can either be generated by the master frame buffer board (internal sync generator) or genlocked on the input source (if input source characteristics are compatible with display specifications).
There is also a main RS232 interface available for external control of the complete system.
