Sennheiser releases new components for EW-DX microphone system

Sennheiser has announced new components for the EW-DX, including a two-channel Dante receiver in a half-rack size, a network charger with cascading and an active directional wall-mounted antenna.

Two-channel Dante receiver 

The EW-DX EM 2 Dante two-channel receiver is a half-rack two-channel receiver, enabling various network modes to flexibly integrate into existing workflows. The receivers feature a switching bandwidth of up to 88 MHz, providing up to 146 channels in standard mode and up to 293 channels in link density mode.

Network charger with cascading  

Sennheiser has launched its CHG 70N-C network charger, offering cascading of up to five network charger units.

Wall-mount antenna  

The AWM wall-mount antenna is an active directional antenna, designed for use with the Evolution Wireless digital microphone systems. The antenna can be connected to any stationary Evolution Wireless digital receiver or EW-D ASA antenna splitter, available in a number of variants accommodating anywhere from the 470-694 MHz range to the 1785-1805 MHz range.

Sennheiser Control Cockpit updates 

Sennheiser has also updated its Control Cockpit software with version 7.1.0, including support for the EW-DX EM 2 Dante receiver, EW-DX table stand transmitters (launching in 2024), and EW-DX CHG 70N-C cascading network charger.
