Samsung Flip, a digital flip chart, was demonstrated at the Korean technology company’s First Look event at CES.
The Samsung Flip WM55H has a portable, wheel-based, height adjustable stand or can be wall mounted. Up to four participants can introduce content or annotate directly on screen at the same time using a dual-sided stylus. Each user can customise their own writing style, size and colour, with each notation shown in UHD resolution.
It offers device compatibility through wireless connectivity and USB, PC and mobile ports. An integrated screen-sharing functionality makes Flip content available on connected PCs, smartphones and tablets. Users also can import personally-stored content onto the Flip display’s screen.
Palm swipes can be used to scroll or erase. Twenty pages of writing space, with embedded search functionalities, are provided. Each Flip display is customisable and can be used in portrait or landscape orientations.
When a meeting is over the display stores content on its internal memory. A password-based protection system only allows approved users to access the information. Once logged in, users can download and share featured content through email or print it. Users can also save meeting notes to a USB drive or other external sources.
