RTI unveils ISE 2020 technology line-up
RTI has unveiled its commercial line-up for ISE 2020, highlighting the VXP-82 control processor/presentation switcher, the VXU-SC video conferencing and collaboration system, the CP-16i audio distribution system, the VHD-4x and VHD-8x HDBaseT matrix switches, VMS-741 4K quad multi-viewer, T4x and U3 controllers and the RTiQ remote monitoring system.
VXP-82 control processor and presentation switcher
The VXP-82 ‘all-in-one’ control processor and presentation switcher is designed for large-scale meeting spaces and lecture halls, with a built in 8x2 multi-format video switcher and processing for control over all systems in a room.
The control processor/presentation switcher can handle video signals from multiple sources such as HDBaseT support, with the system delivering audio mixing and KVM support in a 2-U chassis.
VXU-SC video conferencing and collaboration system
RTI will also show its VXU-SC video conferencing and collaboration system for multiple users, allowing them to interact with soft-codec conferencing systems such as Microsoft Skype, Cisco WebEx and Citrix GoToMeeting as well as support for video content from a range of devices.
USB sharing is enabled for control from connected PC’s or interactive displays to enable the use of webcams and microphones.
CP-16i audio distribution system
The CP-16i audio distribution system will also be demonstrated at the show, providing 100W of sound to 16 channels and bridgeable audio outputs, with the unit including thermal overload and over-current monitoring as well as Class-D amplification for heat dissipation and lower power consumption.
The CP-16i is available in rackmount or freestanding installation options, with the amplifier requiring one rack space.
VHD-4x and VHD-8x HDBaseT matrix switches
The VHD-4x and VHD-8x HDBaseT matrix switches will be shown alongside the VMS-741 4K quad multi-viewer, featuring seven video inputs and a 4K video output which allows for configuration for viewing up to four sources simultaneously on one display.
T4x and U3 controllers
RTI’s T4x handheld controller will be on display, featuring a four-in capacitive touchscreen and programmable soft-touch buttons, adding features such as grip sensors, Wi-Fi and dual RF.
The U3 weatherproof controller will also be demonstrated, featuring an electronic ink display, inductive charging and wireless programming updates to seal the unit for operation in harsh conditions.
RTiQ remote monitoring system
In addition, the RTiQ remote monitoring system will be on display, monitoring RTI control system components and other electronic systems.
Users are notified via email and text if a failure in the system occurs, allowing for remote actions to be taken.
ISE 2020 will run from 11-14 February 2020 at the RAI Amsterdam, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
