Roland Professional A/V has announced the VC-1SC-4K, a professional 4K 60p video converter/scaler designed to simplify video conversion and screen setup for LED walls and other display applications.
The VC-1SC-4K is aimed at event production, commercial AV, rental and fixed installation environments where LED walls, non-16:9 displays and varied resolutions are increasingly common.
Roland said the unit is designed to provide fast source adjustment through a practical hardware interface, supporting operators working with LED wall configurations that require resolution, aspect ratio and region-of-interest control.
The converter/scaler features a compact metal chassis manufactured in Japan and supports 4:4:4 10-bit processing. It also includes 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 connectivity for cross-format conversion between HD and 4K sources.
Audio embedding and de-embedding with balanced XLR I/O is also supported, allowing the VC-1SC-4K to integrate with professional AV systems.
A dedicated multi-platform control app enables adjustment of screen resolution, aspect ratio and ROI cropping. Signal monitoring shows the status of video and audio signals, while built-in test pattern generators are included to support setup and troubleshooting.
The VC-1SC-4K will be shown by Roland Professional A/V at InfoComm 2026 on booth N7735 in the North Hall.
Roland will also spotlight its wider 4K workflow tools at the show, including the V-1-4K video switcher, Graphics Presenter Version 3.0 and VenuSet Version 1.2.
The V-1-4K, introduced in April 2026 and now shipping, is a compact 4K 60p switcher with five HDMI 2.0 inputs, six outputs across HDMI, USB and multiview, input scalers, USB-C 4K streaming, audio mixing, PTZ camera control and remote operation through Roland control apps.
The switcher also includes a Region of Interest mode, allowing operators to crop up to four virtual shots from a single 4K camera source for applications such as panel discussions, classrooms, training rooms and fixed installations.
Graphics Presenter Version 3.0 adds full 4K rendering and output for real-time titles, motion graphics, lower thirds and overlays, while VenuSet Version 1.2 allows users and integrators to create customised control interfaces for supported Roland video products.
