Integrated Systems Europe has announced new conferences and learning opportunities for ISE 2020, returning to Amsterdam for the final time before its move to Barcelona in 2021.

ISE is expecting more than an estimated 81,000 visitors at the 2020 show, with more floor space, conferences and learning opportunities planned to go ahead.

ISE is introducing the ‘Innovation Zone’ at the 2020 show, an area designed for first-time exhibitors at ISE to showcase technology alongside other newcomers.

The ISE main stage theatre will be relocating from hall eight to hall 14, offering thought leadership and best practice sessions which are free to attend and do not require advance booking.

Events will run across six technology zones spread out across eight of the 15 halls at the show, with hall five being expanded for the 2020 show.

The hall is being expanded from the 2019 show’s temporary expansion to a permanent, larger expansion to accommodate more exhibitors and visitors.

With the 2020 show being the final instalment of ISE’s presence in Amsterdam, the walkway between halls seven and eight, the former Business Lounge, will have a Barcelona theme featuring information on how to get to ISE 2021 at Fira de Barcelona, Spain and what to expect once they arrive.

A range of conferences and the show’s professional development programme,, titled ‘Learn, Discover, Be Inspired’, will return for ISE 2020 with a selection of conferences new for ISE 2020 including the AVIXA Higher Education AV conference, focusing on different perspectives  on optimal learning and teaching experiences through the use of AV as well as the AVIXA Enterprise AV conference highlighting the availability of data and the opportunities that data analytics offer for business strategies and workplace/system design.

AVIXA will also host FlashTracks throughout the show on a dedicated show floor stand, free 20-minute education sessions focused on leading industry topics that are designed for AV professionals of any experience level.

The opening keynote will return for 2020, with the opening address being provided by former Disney executive Duncan Wardle.

The closing keynote is being replaced for 2020 with an invitation-only event on Friday 14 February 2020 to bid farewell to Amsterdam and the RAI Amsterdam, highlighting the opportunities that the new venue, Fira de Barcelona, has to offer.

Mike Blackman, managing director, Integrated Systems Events said: “The event will mark the end of an era and the beginning of an exciting new one.”

The InAVation Awards will also return to Amsterdam, recognizing the gold standard contributions to the AV industry at the Beurs van Berlage.
