RCF is shipping its NX L44-A line source array system.
The two-way line source incorporates an asymmetrical horn for extended coverage, high intelligibility and SPL across audience areas. Its horn-design offers 90-degree x 30-degree directivity for sound projection.
It features three 10-in neodymium woofers and a 1.4-in high frequency driver with 3-in voice coil on an asymmetrical waveguide, controlled by an on-board DSP and powered by a two-channel 1400-watt Class-D digital amplifier.
The NX L44-A’s mid-bass woofers provide linearity, low frequency reproduction and high power handling capabilities. Its 2.5-in voice coil combines with fibreglass to provide high frequency response extension.
Its compression driver’s coil and 1.4-in exit throat allows RCF to lower the crossover point to 800 Hz for natural reproduction.
The DSP’s cabinet furthermore allows adjustment for a single column application or HF close coupling application when cascaded in a stacked array.
