Philips Pronto will preview its TSW9500 in-wall control panel at CEDIA’s Home Technology Show, held this week at Excel, London.
The company also previewed the product, which is its first in-wall solution, at InfoComm in Las Vegas last week. The TSW9500 has been designed to utilise the same configurations that have already been created for the TSU9800 and TSU9600.
Surfaces such as brick, plaster or drywalls can be used to mount the TSW9500 in-wall control panel using its “smart mounting mechanism”. It boasts a 3.5 inch QVGA touch screen and is available in white, ivory, black, silver and almond front plate colours.
Already created configurations for a TSU9600/TSU9800 Pronto control panel can be downloaded on the TSW9500. The in-wall controller has five freely programmable firm buttons for frequently used functions. It provides an Ethernet connection, along with an IR out port for IR-routing, and supports power over Ethernet (PoE). Furthermore a separate entry for power is also available.
