Arthur Holm has launched D2, a new motorised retractable monitor range designed for integration into boardrooms, conference rooms and other high-end meeting environments.
D2 combines elements of the company’s DynamicX2 and DB2 ranges, pairing a hatch-free design with an aluminium tabletop frame that allows the monitor to be installed flush from above the table.
The display rises vertically using a motorised mechanism and can tilt by up to 20 degrees. Integrated capacitive sensors control both tilt and retraction, while the monitor housing sits flush with the tabletop when not in use.
For system integration, D2 supports addressable RS-422/RS-485 full-duplex control using Arthur Holm’s AHnet protocol, alongside opto-isolated GPI Up/Down control. An RJ45 CAT6 connection with loop-through supports AHnet control, while USB is provided for firmware upgrades.
The range also incorporates Arthur Holm’s Interactive Setup Display and AH-AMMC automatic mechanical movement calibration. With optional ERT-30 or ERT-60 Ethernet interfaces, integrators can use the AHlink app for setup, diagnostics and control during commissioning and servicing.
The 17.3-in Full HD AH17D2 includes two HDCP-compliant DVI inputs as standard. Options include dual HDMI inputs, projected-capacitive multitouch, a built-on PC Box, input selection controls, retractable USB-C or HDMI cables, an integrated USB camera and DynamicShare.
Arthur Holm said the modular configuration is intended to allow consultants and integrators to tailor connectivity around individual project requirements, whether the unit is being used as a participant display or as part of a wider presentation and conferencing system.
D2 is offered in 17-in, 17-in 4K, 22-in and 24-in 4K versions, with finish options including painted, black anodised, gold and bronze variants. Custom laser engraving is also available for the aluminium tabletop frame.
