MA Lighting has released grandMA3 software version 2.4.2.2, adding new features and workflow improvements for lighting programmers and operators.
The update introduces Phaser Recipes, designed to extend phaser workflows and support more dynamic show elements. Preset handling has also been expanded, allowing presets to be used across all fixtures at any time, including universal MAgic presets.
A new Preview function allows users to review upcoming cues and sequences before they are output live. This enables scenes to be checked, updated and adjusted without affecting the active show.
The release also adds Phone Tethering, enabling users to access online fixture shares via a mobile data connection. This allows required fixture types to be retrieved in venues or production environments where dedicated network access is unavailable.
MVR import workflows have also been updated. Users can now select which elements they want to import from an MVR file, with the process moved into the Partial Show Read window for greater flexibility and consistency.
Alongside grandMA3 v2.4, MA Lighting has also released grandMA2 software version 3.9.63.6, including MA VPU, grandMA2 3D and MA Network Switch software.
