Logitech has launched its MX Brio/MX Brio 705 for Business, a 4K webcam for end users and enterprisers.
The MX Brio and MX Brio 705 for Business is a Ultra HD 4K webcam designedwith 70% larger pixels than the previous Brio 4K webcam, offering an AI-enhanced image quality with auto light correction and face-based image enhancement.
The MX Brio and MX Brio 705 for Business boast a video with two times better face visibility and two times finer image details in difficult lighting conditions compared to Brio 4K, according to a test by DXOMARK lab.
Advanced customisation features are available to enable users to fine-tune their appearance and surroundings by manually adjusting exposure, tint, vibrance, field of view and more using Logi Options+, Logi Tune and G HUB software.
A show mode is available to enable users to share sketches or other physical objects on desks by tilting the webcam.
On the audio side, MX Brio includes two beamforming microphones to reduce backgounr noise, with an integrated physical privacy shutter to prevent unauthorised viewing.
The webcam includes a RightSight autoframing feature, which detects and centres on the speaker as they move around, a feature which can be enabled through Logi Tune for enterprise customers with MX Brio 705 for Business.
MX Brio 705 for Business is compatible with most video conferencing platforms and is certified for Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Zoom. IT admins can update firmware and troubleshoot problems remotely for hybrid/remote workers securely via the web-based device management platform, Logitech Sync.
The plastic parts used in MX Brio include certified post-consumer recycled plastic from old consumer electronics, including 82% recycled plastic for the graphite colour option and 75% for the pale grey colour option.
