Systems integrator Inytium installed an AV Stumpfl projection screen when it delivered AV systems for a 180-seat multipurpose auditorium in a cultural centre in Fosses-la-Ville.
The Maison Rurale (Rual Home) "Espace Jijé” is named after local Belgian comics artist Jijé and is in a former barn. It includes facilities for meetings and exhibitions, an outdoor space, and two auditoria, including the 180-seat multipurpose hall.
Inytium and design firm Sceno-consult were commissioned by the city of Fosses-la-Ville to design, source and install a complete AV system for the venue, including staging, cables, lighting and sound.
In addition to the AV Stumpfl screen sourced from AED Belgium, Maison Rurale features equipment from Electro-Voice, ChamSys, Epson and Verlinde Lifting Equipment.
Inytium opted for a rail-mounted AV Stumpfl projection screen from the VarioClip product family, which can be moved to one side of the stage when not in use.
Julien Calande, project manager for Inytium, said: “A flexible solution had to be found to avoid dismantling the screen each time it was used. We decided to put it on a rail behind the black background of the stage.”
