Lightware has released the SW4-OPT-TX240RAK, a 4K UHD HDMI multimode single fibre extender with multiple format input ports.
This optical extender was designed to handle HDMI1.4, DP1.1 and DVI-D digital video signals. It can also handle analogue stereo audio from local inputs, HDMI embedded audio up to eight channel PCM or HBR audio.
The device extends HDMI 1.4 and DVI 1.0 signals with HDCP over one multimode fibre and transmits video signal with embedded audio to a distance of up to 2,500 meters. The model also extends RS-232 and USB KVM and features Advanced EDID Management and Pixel Accurate Reclocking.
