Lightware highlights USB-C innovation in InfoComm 2025 showing

Lightware will return to InfoComm 2025 to show its USB-C connectivity innovations on a booth that incorporates 15 demonstrations of real-world scenarios.

The company can be found at booth 3909 at the Orlando, USA show, taking place June 11–13.

Visitors will be able to explore Lightware’s Taurus UCX, TPX, and TPN devices designed to simplify meeting experiences in BYOD and BYOM setups in spaces from huddle to large conference rooms.

Beyond these three core lineups of the Taurus product family, each dedicated to a different room scenario, Lightware will also show developments that elevate the features and capabilities of the Taurus platform.

After its debut at ISE 2025, the new Taurus UCX-1x1-C40 Smart Dock will be on display at Infocomm, demonstrating its capabilities as a professional dock with room automation, monitoring, and control; offering seamless compatibility with Windows, iOS and Android devices.

Lightware will also show the rack-mount Taurus TPX transmitter. By placing all input and output ports on the back of the product, the device can be installed in a standard rack, and the introduction of an internal power supply and PoE to a connected touch panel help to further streamline system designs. The Taurus TPX bundle offers the same capabilities as its compact-sized predecessors, overcoming the limitations imposed by the USB and HDMI cables and allows for the extension of video, audio, and control signals in one direction and the USB 2.0 data in the other, up to a transmission distance of 100m.

The recently released Taurus UCX-4x3-HCM40 will also be shown, enabling dual-screen extended desktop over USB-C, supporting 100W charging, USB3 peripherals, and 4K60 resolution and even overcoming Mac M1/M2/M3 limitations in a development Lightware claims as a world first.

Lightware will show how Taurus TPN combines USB-C and AV-over-IP, introducing host switching and USB extension across 10G Ethernet networks using SDVoE technology. The product is suited to flexible meeting rooms and enterprise environments, allowing high-bandwidth video and USB signal management up to 100m.

Visitors can also experience live demos of the Gemini GVN, a 1G AV-over-IP matrix with 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 video, seamless switching, and USB routing, alongside Lightware’s latest UBEX solution with redundant, latency-free, uncompressed 4K60 multistreaming over 10G networks.

Lightware demos will show the seamless compatibility and integration of Lightware’s products with brands such as Cisco, Microsoft Teams Room, Poly, Barco and Sennheiser.
