Invision now shipping Pulse-Eight HDBaseT video matrix

Invision has announced the launch of Pulse-Eight's neo:8a fixed format 8x10 HDBaseT video matrix, featuring an added audio breakout functionality and eight HDBaseT 70m Class B PoH receivers.

The neo:8a improves upon the neo:8 video matrix, with the neo:8a capable of extending 4K up to 40 metres and 1080p up to 70 metres.

The neo:8a includes CEC to allow the control of devices (Sky, Blu-Ray Player, Apple TV) from the TV’s remote control, with the matrix able to route video automatically, even if the source does not support CEC.

The neo:8a allows for access from mobile, tablet or desktop PC devices in any browser, with the neo Alexa skill being enabled on an Amazon Echo or Dot, allowing users to use voice control and turn a TV on or off or switching source devices.

4K video transmission up to 340Mhz is supported, as well as 1080P, 3D and full HDCP 2.2 supports.

Eight HDMI HDBaseT Class B outputs as well as two HDMI outputs and eight HDMI source audio breakouts (optical and digital coax) are included alongside eight neo:Lite PoH receivers.

HDMI-CEC bi-directional control and bi-directional IR control are also included with automatic EDID management.
