Icron has launched upgrades to its USB 3-2-1 Raven 3104 and Raven 3124 extender systems, with updated firmware to allow for interoperability with video streaming devices such as USB cameras and USB video capture peripherals.
The extender systems also include 6W of USB power per port, with a 1Gbps Ethernet side-channel feature allowing users to connect a network-enabled device to the extender or re-use an existing cable infrastructure without blocking network connectivity.
