Extron launches DTP3 CrossPoint 42 USB matrix switcher

Extron has introduced its DTP3 CrossPoint 42 USB 4K/60 matrix switcher, supporting 10 Gbps data at the local USB-C host port and four-port hub, as well as host switching and USB2 data extension.

The DTP3 CrossPiont 42 USB features USB-C and HDMI outputs, as well as a DTP3 output for extending video, audio, data and control signals up to 100 metres over a shielded CAT 6A cable.

Additional capabilities include 100-watt USB-C charging, audio de-embedding, transition effects, and logo keying.

Up to three 10Gbps USB hosts may be switched to share devices and connect to the local four-port USB hub, which includes two USB 10Gbps and two USB 2 connections.

The switcher can also access remote USB devices connected to a DTP3 R 331 receiver, enabling cameras, microphones, mice, and keyboards installed in a room to be available to any connected USB host.
