Extron launches 10-in touch panel for room scheduling

Extron Electronics has introduced the TLS 1025M 10-in standalone panel for Extron room scheduling systems.

The TouchLink scheduling panel connects directly to a number of calendar services, and requires no additional scheduling software or external processors. It features a 1280x800 capacitive edge-to-edge Gorilla Glass touchscreen. The TLS 1025M also features Power over Ethernet (PoE), which allows it to receive power and communication over a single Ethernet cable. Two red and green LEDs show if a room is occupied or available.

Panels can be used to analyse room usage, activity patterns, and occupancy trends across an organisation. A Scheduling Activity file can be downloaded from each touch panel to show room usage and meeting data. All TLS panels are configured with Extron Room Agent software. When the touch panel is connected to a computer, the free Room Agent software can be used to fill in the required fields to compose the user interface. Customisation options include custom colours and background images as well as showing or hiding interface text fields.
