Extron debuts three source audio mixer with DSP

Extron has announced the release of its MVC 121 xi compact, a three source audio mixer with audio DSP for mixing and signal processing.

The MVC 121 xi brings a stereo line level input and two mic/line level inputs with 48-volt phantom power for condenser microphones, as well as fixed and variable stereo line level outputs. The new model brings gain, filters, bass, and treble tone controls, as well as parametric EQ.

Front panel controls are available for configuration of parameters, or alternatively, users can access DSP Configurator Pro software for configuration.

The audio DSP built into the MVC 121 xi brings wide dynamic range, using 24-bit audio converters with 48 kHz sampling to maintain audio signal transparency. Configuration tools are available to control levels, filters, dynamics processing, bass and treble shelving filters, as well as parametric EQ.
