Exterity has announced that it has increased the functionality of its digital signage and IP video offerings. Its extended portfolio will be on display at the upcoming IBC 2016.
Exterity’s AvediaServer 7.6, ArtioSign, ArtioPortal and AvediaPlayer r93xx receivers have all been enhanced in a bid to provide greater control and flexibility to operators.
AvediaServer V7.6 and AvediaPlayer r93xx Receivers V5.3 now has an updated user interface with a set of app and control icons. The AvediaServer also features the ArtioSign Create App, allowing operators to plan digital signage with drag-and-drop and templates.
The ArtioPortal middleware platform has furthermore been upgraded to give users the ability to change screen backgrounds, browse the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) whilst viewing a channel, and integrate with NETx Automation Building Management Systems (BMS) to control lighting, temperature and blinds via mobile devices though the platform.
Exterity has additionally announced a Projector Control app, providing the central control of video content outputted via projectors to administrators using AvediaServer 7.6 with AvediaPlayer r93xx V5.3 receivers. The app allows users to can automatically change the content source of individual or groups of projectors, as well as remotely monitor bulb and filter life.
