Earthworks launches directional boundary microphone

Earthworks has unveiled its IMDL1 directional boundary microphone.

The IMDL1 features RF shielding to prevent interference from electronic devices and measure 1.6-in in diametre and 0.7-in tall when installed.

The microphone features a 20Hz to 30kHz frequency response, along with a cardioid polar pattern that provides a frequency response at 0, 45 and 90 degrees.

The IMDL1 has a max acoustic input of 145dB SPL and sensitivity of 10m V/Pa.

The microphone is available in a black or stainless steel finish and features the LumiComm Touch Ring, which consists of a dual-colour LED light ring and a touch sensor output.
