Display Solutions has introduced Shuttle’s new DS81 media PC that supports the latest software and trends in high-performance digital signage.
Shuttle’s DS81 is equipped with an Intel H81 Express Chipset that supports Intel Haswell fourth-generation Core i3/i5/i7 processor. The system supports dual-channel DDR3 1600 memory with a maximum capacity of 16GB, and the CPU integrated Intel HD graphics 4600 is compatible with DirectX11.1 to deliver significantly increased processing and graphics performance.
To meet the diverse requirements of a variety of digital signage applications, the DS81 provides a range of connectivity interfaces, including USB2.0, USB3.0, RS232/422/485, SATA 6G and full size/half size Mini PCIe. The system has built-in display ports to accommodate 4K content and allows end users to play video and multimedia content with Dual Screen Display options.
Shuttle uses industrial capacitors and has integrated a heat pipe cooling module with a variable speed fan that enables effective cooling to ensure reliable operation in environments up to 50°C.
